Virtual assistant, puppeteer and writer based in Cornwall, UK.
Not your average VA
I am a Virtual Assistant specialising in communications and project support for the creative industries. With over ten years’ experience as a comms professional in higher education, plus ten years working in theatre and film as a puppeteer and actor, I am perfectly placed to offer tailored support to creative businesses.
On any working day you may find me shaping a client's copy or writing a funding bid on my computer, planning a community project for my puppetry company Brave Biscuit Studios, rehearsing a show, or performing with a puppet, from a dragon puppet the size of a double-decker bus on the streets of Plymouth, to a little robin puppet hopping around the feet of a nursery group. There are many strands to my work and my creative life.
Living in Cornwall, weekends are for coast path walks, sea swimming, and getting out and about with my partner and our two-year-old daughter.
