About me
Content specialist, writer and puppeteer based in Cornwall, UK.
I am a communications professional specialising in remote content and project support for small businesses and non-profits. With over ten years’ experience as a comms professional in higher education, plus ten years working in theatre and film as a puppeteer and actor, and five years running a CIC, creativity is at the core of everything I do.
On any working day you may find me shaping a client's copy or writing a funding bid on my computer, planning a community project for my puppetry company Brave Biscuit Studios, rehearsing a show, or performing with a puppet, from a dragon puppet the size of a double-decker bus on the streets of Plymouth, to a little robin puppet hopping around the feet of a nursery group. There are many strands to my work and my creative life.
Living in Cornwall, weekends are for coast path walks, sea swimming, and getting out and about with my partner and our two-year-old daughter.
